Description from Autosvs China – F32GN067 – DIMSport Official Authorised Asia Partner In order to better protect their software development efforts ®C to release new serial protocols and for the maintenance of the already existing protocols ®C Dimsport developed a new hardware dongle to be plugged into the Genius console (both master and slave versions). The dual purpose of this upgrade is to both improve the protection of the console and allow the user to keep operating OFFLINE with DIMSport New Genius, autonomously and without the need for a personal computer or an internet connection for reading and writing operations. The new hardware dongle will be available from March 2017 and will allow customers to receive: All the new protocols that will be made available from the subsequent month (April 2017) and All the functional updates for the already existing protocols, released to improve the performances of the tool and/or extend the range of applications of a specific protocol to other compatible vehicles previously not supported. Important: the new dongle for DIMSport New Genius will be required to receive technical support for all that related to the protocols, even those previously enabled, due to the mutated protocols structure and the different working logic. UNTIL the 25th of October if you purchase a new subscription you will get a dongle for FREE! AFTER the 25th of October to get updates and renew the subscription you will have to purchase a dongle. Also if you are not buying new protocols or subscriptions and just want to have updates DONGLE SOFTWARE ACTIVATION WILL HAVE TO BE PURCHASED TOGETHER WITH THE DONGLE!
